Columbine seed: germination time
Germination time is the time from sowing to seedlings appearing. It depends on temperature.
Johnny's Selected Seeds, a seed grower, publishes days to germination at a stated temperature for each flower.
For columbine, the grower gives days to germination of 21 to 28 days at 70 to 75°F (21 to 24°C). The grower also advises to refrigerate the seed for 5 days before planting, and notes that light aids germination.
