Planting depth for puschkinia (striped squill) bulbs
Planting depth affects how well spring bulbs establish. Fact sheets list a depth for each kind.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County publishes a table of planting depths in inches.
The table lists Puschkinia at 3 inches (about 8 cm).
Limits of this figure
Other published charts give a range of one or two inches either side. Soil type and climate change the best depth.
