How long Brussels sprouts seeds stay viable
Seed saved for later sowing loses the ability to germinate over time. The time depends on the crop.
University of Illinois Extension publishes a table of approximate seed life by vegetable, under the heading "Will my seeds still grow?".
The table gives Brussels sprouts an approximate seed life of 4 years.
Limits of this figure
Other seed suppliers publish different figures for some crops. The figure is approximate.
